Dentures are also known as prostheses, dental plate, stay plate, false teeth and gnashers. Denture is fabricated to replace missing teeth. It is supported by soft and hard tissues or dental implants in the oral cavity.
Dental Implant is used to support restorations like crowns, fixed bridges, hybrid prosthetic dentures and removable overdenture prostheses. Implants are osseointegrated. Two primary objectives of implant theraphy are: 1. succesful osseointegration of implants 2. long term stable restoration
